Andy,

Many don't agree with me, and many think "what the hell kind of pairing is that?!?!" but I've always loved the way that great beer pairs with great chocolate. In my opinion, it pairs far better than wine.

P.S. That picture has be searching my house now for chocolate! :)

Andy, just watched this video. I don't care what country you're from, what state you're in, if your passion and love is beer...this video will hit an emotional note with you.

My favorite part comes at the start, when one of the brewers say "Pride in what I do is more payment than anything else".

I've been saying this for such a long time, and I will keep saying it. The biggest a factors behind the success and love for the craft beer culture and craft breweries has far more to do with their passion, their pride, their attention to details, and most important their attention and admiration for the people that drink and love their beer...more so than with JUST the beer itself.

I have to post this up on my blog for my Beerlings. It's just too good.

Andy, that list has my looking at the clock wondering "is it too early for a beer run?" ;)

That sounds incredible! I love the generosity and attention you received from the breweries. I just might have to use your post to bring attention to this for my blog.

Enjoy them all! (just not all at once!) and report back to us! I would love to hear your thoughts on all of them.

That's Amazing Andy!

And I bet their looking for something more than simply an easy way of promoting themselves. This is why it's called craft beer. It's crafted with more than just physical ingredients, It's about the people behind it all and the passion behind it all.

Try getting a response like this from a big corp.

So what did you end up getting? :)

I'm with you on this. I would assume a behemoth like InBev is behind this. The rise in North American craft beer has only spurred the importation of quality European beers.

Bureaucracy is the definition of inefficiency.

It also sparked in me a process similar to the Buffalo Theory. I’ve always looked at alcohol intake as akin to gardening; to keep a plant or tree healthy, you must regularly trim away the older, less healthy branches. By occasionally trimming the plant, you make sure that the new growth will get more essential nutrients, thus resulting in a fuller, more vibrant, healthy plant.

As I regularly tell my wife: “I’m not getting drunk, I’m pruning!”

Nice one!!

cheers
